SAQ Training
Speed, agility, and quickness training at Redline Athletics Fort Myers, our home facility. Your athlete learns to accelerate, decelerate, stabilize, and change direction with proper posture, then puts it to work: an explosive first step, cuts that leave defenders behind, and the speed to make plays other kids only watch. Faster athletes play more. This is where fast gets built.
SAQ training runs 3–8 PM.
Sessions start every hour, built to fit family schedules. For athletes ages 8–18. 4429 Cleveland Ave, Suite 120, Fort Myers, FL 33901

Speed Is Built, Not Born
What SAQ Is
Move Fast, Stay Under Control
Games are won in the first step and the cut. SAQ training teaches your athlete to accelerate, decelerate, stabilize, and change direction with proper posture, at full speed and under control. The result is an athlete who reacts first, beats the defender off the dribble or the line, and makes the play instead of chasing it.

Three Pillars, Every Session
Speed & Agility
The core work: an explosive first step, real top-end speed, and cuts that do not cost speed. Trained every session until fast becomes automatic, and automatic is what shows up on game day.
Strength & Conditioning
Mechanics first. Then consistency. Then intensity. Age-appropriate strength that turns speed into power and keeps your athlete strong through a full season.
Injury Prevention
Activation, balance, and landing work built into every session. Strong, stable athletes get hurt less, miss fewer games, and stay on the floor all season.
Inside A Session
The Path To Performance
1
Activation & Injury Prevention
Wake the muscles up and protect the joints, so every session starts healthy and stays that way.
2
Dynamic Warmup
Movement prep at rising speed, so joints and muscles are primed to move fast from the first drill.
3
Speed & Agility
The main work: sprint, cut, react, compete. This is where first steps get explosive and game speed gets built.
4
Strength & Power
Age-appropriate strength and power work, so the speed holds up in the fourth quarter, not just the first.
5
Mobility & Recovery
Cool down, stretch, and breathe, so your athlete recovers faster and comes back ready to work.
The Standard
Train With Purpose
Train with purpose. Compete at game speed. Improve every week. Everything is earned.

Timing Gate Sprint
Every sprint timed to the hundredth of a second, so your athlete is always chasing a real number, not a feeling. That number is how an explosive first step and top-end speed get built, one timed rep at a time.
Group Sprint Start
The whole group explodes off the line on the same cue: reaction time and first-step power, trained head to head
Full Session Montage
A full SAQ session start to finish: warmup, speed work, strength, and recovery, the way every training day runs
Station Work
Coached stations and constant movement, no standing around. A coach watches every rep and fixes form on the spot, so speed gets built the right way
